Part 2 of 2 Interesting History: The owner of this estate enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 1944 and became a bomer flight officer.  After which, he got his PhD in chemistry and went on to work with the Department of Engergy in Materials research, eventually becoming a Registered Professional Engineer. He tenured as a Professor of Engineering becoming the Dean of Engineering at Wright State University. He owned a consulting firm that serviced government, industry and legal community clients with this engineering expertise. He did research in helmet design for sports, automotive and military applications, many of which are still used today.  Notably, he held one of the patents in personal body armor designed for President Ronald Reagan, which also protected the staff and flight crew during the inital foray to into detente with the People's Republic of China (he actually took a 357 bullet while testing one of his ballistic vests). During the Vietnam conflict, he was part of an elite team who operated behind emeny lines gathering intelligence and conducting covert operations as the infamous fnal survior of the "five fingers of death".
