Welcome to an amazing collection of racing memorabilia, from the estate of Mr. Rob Riker (Monument, Colorado). While Rob may not have been a "professional" photographer, he certainly delivered unique and professional results. After attending an Indy 500 race in 1964, Rob fell in love with racing. He started out doing wedding photography, and through his love of the sport, he managed to get "in" with magazines and getting his photos published. His access to the racing world led to his relationships with racers like Jeff Gordon & Dale Earnhardt Sr. Earnhardt eventually hired Rob to be his personal photographer. The photographs you see in this collection were original pictures taken by Rob himself. Autographed items were obtained directly by Rob through his relationships and business dealings with the racers. After Rob's recent passing, his family hopes these wonderful memories end up in the hands of others who truly appreciate the world of racing.
